Located nearby Saint Guilhem le Désert, medieval city considered to be one of the most beautiful village of France, we’ll start this barrancos (dry canyon) by the way of saint-Jacques of compostelle to reach the circus of Infernet
From there, we’ll start our descent to the first 8 meters abseiling in order to be familiarized to the ropes technics. Our monitors will offer you the opportunity to descent in an autonomous way or by being guide by them.
After some projections we’ll de-escalation to finish with a vertiginous abseiling of 30 meters!
We’ll progress then in a hiden Gorge performing numerous abseilings from 7 to 15 meters in order to reach a famous natural water pool called «Red fish basin».
The way back will last 15 minutes to the parking where you’ll be able to visit the village of Saint Guilhem le Désert or the picturesque bridge of the evil called «The devil’s bridge» where you could have a well deserved bath.
What is adventure routes ?
The adventure route is an activity mixing hiking, climbing and abseiling. This activity will allow you to discover in an other way the mountains of Montpellier. These group activities will lead you off the beaten track, where it’s impossible to go through without specific materiel.
