End of canyoning for 2019
This is the season canyoning is over. We enjoyed it all the season. Good weather and the heat that made you want to get in the water. But the temperatures have dropped, and the season lends itself more to climbs cliffs in the region.
At this time the sun is welcome on the cliff and it is in via-ferrata, climbing and hiking recall that we enjoy the most.
Many places in the hinterland of Montpellier are to be discovered such as the Pic Saint-Loup, the area of Thaurac and its many cliffs (near the Grotte des Demoiselles in Saint-Bauzille de Putois), the rock of Tras Castel which dominates the village of Saint-Jean de Buèges, the circus of Infernet nestled between the cliffs (near Saint-Guilhem le Désert) and many other places atypical.
For Via-ferrata we will make you discover that of Thaurac, Vidourle and Liaucous. From the height, chimney passes, zip lines, monkey bridges, reminders, in short of the variety in these sensations courses that you will have to apprehend.
In climbing, you can simply discover the activity in our discovery outings. No experiences needed. Just be guided by the rope along the cliff. For the most experienced, the many great roads that are found around Montpellier will do the trick.
Regarding the hiking-rappelling, this activity is between the other two previously mentioned. Between hiking, climbing and abseiling, you will discover the massif of Pic Saint-Loup and the Cirque du Verdus differently. It is the heart of the massif or the canyon that we enter. Without rope for abseiling, no progression possible.
For the more sporty canyons, you will have to travel a little further in the Cévennes massif near Vigan for the Orgon waterfall canyon, or even to the heart of the park for the Tapoul canyon (for this one it will be necessary to wait for the month of May for its re-opening). The massif of Caroux is not outdone with the canyon of Ruisseau d’Albès which offers us its splendid abseiling.
For our aquatic activities, we will meet you at the beginning of next spring. On hearing, we will spend the winter on the cliffs of Montpellier and its surroundings.

Between Saint-Guilhem the Desert, Saint-Jean du Gard or Mons la Trivalle, we propose three very different canyons in their course. Dominant jumps, toboggans or zipline, these are varied courses that will be discovered.
