Climbing bloc in FISE

Once is not customary, the FISE began this 24th of May. Considered one of the major events of Montpellier, the FISE celebrates in this year 2017 its 20 years, on the banks of the Lez. The biggest annual freestyle sport competition in Europe invites us during these 5 days to dive into the world of extreme sports: Bmx, skate, roller, but also wakeboard and mountain bike.
But this year, a new discipline is emerging: rock climbing.

Climbing the most explosive, Escalade Bloc consists of climbing a wall with only security: mattresses reception. Prerequisites: Power, coordination and flexibility. The ultimate goal is to reach the final catch. New sport coming from the mountain, climbing finally appears at the FISE in Montpellier. This initiative can be welcomed by the organizers of Block’Out, a new Escalade room in Montpellier. Thus, UNICEF is part of the international calendar of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) at the Master level.
