Canyon of Soucy in Gard

Here is a brand new video, to introduce you to the canyon initiation Soucy, in the Gard, near the Cevennes (Anduze and Ales nearby).

This will allow you to discover the surroundings of Saint-Jean du Gard, through this aquatic hike. You will chained jumps (up to 9 meters), slides of all kinds, floating and giant zipline, closed this canyon.

For the more cautious, it will be possible to be carried along the water, on the Gardon, and enjoy the scenery that offers us the Cevennes. Indeed, for an open canyon, all the workshops can get around on demand. Of course, for the more adventurous, it will be possible to repeat the workshops most sensations, such as jumping or giant zip.

One of the beautiful discovery of the Gard in canyoning, not far from Anduze and Ales. Aquatic hike, initiation and sensations are the key words of this outdoor activity.

Update to practice canyoning in Soucy (May2021):

Small update of the article. Following some problems with the neighborhood, we no longer go to the Soucy canyon until the situation has calmed down. I don’t think we will be going there this year 2021. Hopefully a solution will be found in order to take advantage of this great outing again.

Failing to be able to take advantage of this outing, we can go to the other side of the Cévennes, in the Caroux massif to offer a very nice family canyon or to do with family: The Rec Grand canyon on the Béziers side. This mainly consists of slides. Very playful, it can sometimes be very aquatic. The season which lends itself the most to the practice of this canyon is spring and the beginning of summer. Feasible in August, it still loses some of its charm.
